Mechanical tripod turnstiles are straight forward and familiar to most users. The three arms can rotate in one or two directions, controlled by an access control system, movement detectors, push button, guard station, reception desk or a combination of systems.

These half height turnstiles available in stylish stainless steel, chrome or painted finishes.

Twin arm motorised stainless steel turnnstile — Twin Arm Motorised Stainless Steel Turnstile

When operated, the twin arm turnstile provides a clear passage through the lane by using technology to rotate the turnstile head ready for the next user and without the need for a third arm.

Motorised versions are also available to speed up throughput whilst further facilitating the use of the tripod turnstile. After an authorising input from the access control system, the arms inch forward to show the user that they have been authorised, then after a small amount of pressure from the user the arms complete their cycle.

The half height motorised turnstile, with its fully enclosed, high-quality, robust and vandal-proof stainless steel housing, is especially well suited for use in a battery of turnstiles at high-traffic indoor access points. The housing can accommodate card readers and ticket collectors. The Electro UKUKTHH27 can be used for single or bidirectional operation and is available as the classic 3-arm turnstile or in 2-arm form, either as an escape-route suitable turnstile or as an open gate to block only in case of abuse.

This is a half height rotary turnstile for internal use. The motorised mechanism allows for hands-free operation but its stylish design and superior quality finish is suitable for any area where aesthetics are important.

The turnstile is fitted with pressure sensors which adapt to the speed of the person passing through. The full depth arms are an added security feature but as they can be fitted with either acrylic or plate 10mm safety glass they do not feel restrictive. The drive is in the central column and ensures that no underfloor drive work is required.

Constructed of stainless steel, this turnstile has a fine brushed granulation 204 finish. The infill panels are housed within 30mm fine brushed tubes and can be constructed of 10mm plate safety glass or acrylic. There is no requirement for either infra-red sensors or guidance barriers.

The operation of the unit is 120 degree and uses intelligent motion control adjusting to the persons individual speed. The unit is microprocessor controlled and is adjustable to all conventional reading systems. It can be controlled in either or both directions and free rotates on power failure or activation of the fire alarm.
